We recommend testing your concrete for moisture prior to application of the IPOXI system. There are several ways to test, but the easiest is called the plastic sheet test (ASTM-D-4263).

Cut a 16” x 16” sheet of plastic and duct tape it on all sides to your clean, dry and bare concrete floor. Leave it for 24 hours and then peel it up to remove, looking for any condensation or darker areas on the concrete. If none exists, you may proceed with the application of your IPOXI floor.
